FIELD: mechanical engineering; construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of heat insulation to pipelines using "pipe - in-pipe" method. Proposed flow line contains rough pipe accumulator, section of preparation and cleaning of pipe outer surfaces, operating rack, coating application station and transportation mechanisms connecting all stations of line. Initial section of line is divided into two flows further connected to each other, first flow is designed for small diameter pipes of 57- 273 mm, and second one, for large diameter pipes of 325-720 mm. First flow contains small diameter pipe accumulator, pipe surface preparation and cleaning section and operating rack, all connected by transportation mechanisms, second flow contains large diameter pipe accumulator, pipe surface preparation and cleaning section, lift table with rollers and operating rack, all connected by transportation mechanisms. Outlets of operating racks of both flows are connected with coating application section forming combined part of line. Coating application section is made in form of intermediate rack and table for accumulating envelopes and track device for accommodating pipes taken from operating racks of both lines, thermal stabilization chamber and filling table.
