FIELD: liquid heating facilities. SUBSTANCE: proposed heat generator is designed for heating liquid media, for instance, water, in water heating systems and heating of other liquid media. Heat generator contains pump connected by delivery side to device accelerating movement of liquid medium which communicates at outlet with scroll and the latter is connected to cylindrical pipe with braking device arranged on outlet section of cylindrical pipe. Braking device is made in form of hollow cup mounted on ribs. Liquid accelerating device is made in form of nozzle. Cylindrical pipe is installed coaxially to scroll. Braking device is installed coaxially to cylindrical pipe. Length of ribs is equal to height cup, and stepped diffuser is formed at outlet section of cylindrical pipe after outlet section of cup. Diameter of diffuser larger step is equal to inner diameter of cylindrical pipe. Length of diffuser larger step is form 0.1 to 2.0 inner diameters of cylindrical pipe, and ratio of inner diameter of cylindrical pipe to outer diameter of cup is from 1.2 to 1.8.
