FIELD: water-supply engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering, particularly to facilities, where kinetic energy of fluid in motion is transformed into the heat energy, and can be used for heat- and hot water supply of objects of industrial and domestic, for heating of process liquid. Vortex heat-generating facility contains pump, connected by delivery side to the facility for motion acceleration of liquid medium in the form of converging cone with cone angle in the range from 5° up to 24°, which by its outlet is connected with inlet hole of volute, letter by its outlet port is coaxial connected to cylindrical pipe. At output section of cylindrical pipe it is located brake arrangement, function of which can implement structural curvature of cylindrical pipe for angle no less than 90°. Ratio of aperture diametre of cone, to outlet size is from 1.2 up to 1.9, herewith cone outlet size is more than outlet size of volute for 0.5-3.5 mm. Ratio of inner diametre of cylindrical pipe to outlet size of volute is from 1.5 up to 2.1.
EFFECT: unit operating effectiveness increase.
