FIELD: digital signal processing devices. SUBSTANCE: method for digital processing of signals includes execution of arithmetic-and-logical operations with data words by digital signal processing unit simultaneously and independently of feed and retrieval operation executed by microprocessor unit; in the process microprocessor unit is stopped in case digital processing unit cannot receive data word. Composite system implementing proposed method has microprocessor unit used for generating memory addresses and digital signal processing unit.
