FIELD: metal-working industry. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents the roller press, that contains the stand, rolls mounted in bearings, the air cushion shock absorber, a pneumatic system with the device which is keeping up the air pressure in it. The air cushion shock absorber consists of the hard base and the elastic diaphragm, connected hermetically with formation of a power cavity, a loading plate and is linked with a receiver connected to the compression pump with a valve. The bearing units of one of rollers are mounted with a capability of movement on the guiding grooves of the stand. At that the air cushion shock absorber through a loading plate and self-aligning supports is connected with the moving bearing units, and base using the rod elements is linked with the stand making a frame construction. Besides on the frame and elements of a bearing unit mounted with capability of movement, there may be placed a sensor of the final movements electrically connected with a receiver through the valve of discharge of a part of the compressed air. EFFECT: the invention allows to simplify a design and to ensure a reliable operation at different modes of setting. 21 cl, 1 dwg
