FIELD: mechanical engineering; rotary engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed engine contains ring space divided by pistons into working chambers. According to invention, main working-4-stroke or 2-stroke cycle of engine is supplemented by two cycles of suction and exhaust of cooling agent for direct cooling of space of successive working chamber directly after completion of exhaust stroke of engine main cycle combined with termination of evacuation of combustion products. Split semiblocks forming ring chamber are made movable. Complex configuration toothed rims are secured on outer diameter of semiblocks, teeth of rims being in meshing with nonround toothed eccentrics of control units. Axle of one of control units plays the part of power takeoff shaft, second unit is used for starting of engine, and third unit, for starting of engine by crank handle.
