FIELD: mechanical engineering, instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in devices in which reliability and long service life at considerable speeds of rotation are of vital importance. According to proposed method, intermediate race of triple-race bearing support is rotated in direction opposite to sense of rotation of its inner race at a speed defined by given mathematical expressions. Method is implemented in four design versions of suspension of high-speed unit employing triple-race supports and synchronous generator-synchronous motor set. Proposed systems can be used for suspending also slow-speed units of devices in which reliability and long service life are of vital importance. Owing to the fact that proposed invention ensures equality of dynamic loads on intermediate and outer races and rolling elements of tiers, service life of support is increased.
