FIELD: electric mechanical engineering; manufacture of fans and ventilation units.
SUBSTANCE: proposed axial-flow electric fan includes induction electric motor, rotor with axial-flow fan and magnetic circuits arranged in one housing. Rotor is mounted on combined supports consisting of radial sliding bearings formed by ceramic bushes fixed on collector and rotor and anti-friction bearings provided with steel balls and received by slots of cage at inclined surface; at definite rotational speed of rotor they move spring-loaded cover in axial direction under action of centrifugal forces and get out of contact with inner cage of raceway which is made on cylindrical surface of ceramic bush of sliding bearing.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability and durability of electric fan.
