FIELD: accurate instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to precision instrument making, namely to gyroscopic equipment. Gyro direction indicator comprises a three-degree gyroscope with a vertical axis of an external frame, in which a gyro unit with a fixed pendulum sensitive element is installed, which output through the correction switch is electrically connected to the correction motor of horizontal correction located on the external frame axis, to which the system angle sensor rotor is also kinematically connected, the stator of which is fixed on the instrument housing, control panel containing latitude setting device, balancing signal setting device, initial course setting device, first and second setters of reverse period, setters of friction moments of the first and second ball bearings, respectively, connected to the second-eighth input ports of the microcontroller, to the first input port of which the output of the system angle sensor is connected through an analogue-to-code converter. Microcontroller first output port is connected to orthodromic heading indicator, which is analytically generated in microcontroller, second and third output ports of which are connected to first and second control inputs of analogue switch, first and second signal outputs of which are connected to inputs of first and second motors arranged on external frame of gyro direction indicator, which are kinematically connected by means of the first and second reduction gears to the middle rings of the first and second three-ring ball bearings, which are supports for the suspension of the gyro unit, wherein the signal input of the analogue switch is connected to the output of the power supply unit.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of orthodromic course formation by averaging of friction moment in gyro unit supports.
