SUBSTANCE: proposed solar collector has envelope made from transparent single-layer or multi-layer material; said envelope has central surface and two cylindrical surfaces engageable with central surface and plane tangential to side cylindrical surfaces; device is also provided with two end shields, heat-absorbing unit with selective coat on its outer surface; central surface is cylindrical in shape at radius R; two side cylindrical surfaces have radius r and width L of envelope; radii R and r are related by expressions 5H>R>3H; , where H and t are width and thickness of current collector, respectively. Current collector may be made in form of liquid heating reservoir or gas heating duct or flat heat-absorbing panel; each cylindrical section of radius r is provided with film-type prismatic reflectors over entire length of transparent envelope.
