FIELD: energy engineering.

SUBSTANCE: automated solar collector of economy class (ASCEC) refers to renewable energy sources. The collector is designed to absorb solar radiation and convert it into heat and electrical energy in order to provide hot water supply, regardless of traditional energy sources of residential and non-residential premises of various purposes. The collector comprises plastic single- or double-chamber housing with aluminium inserts for stiffening the housing; flat transparent insulation of cellular polycarbonate; heat absorbing panel of copper or aluminium corrugated sheet, the outer surface of which has a highly selective coating, copper or aluminium tubular collector; heat-retaining aluminium chips filling the space between the absorbing panel and the rear wall of the housing, sealing heat-resistant rubber; triangular plastic sealing frame, the rear wall of reinforced cellular polycarbonate, the inner and the outer surfaces of which are painted with heat-insulating paint; light-reflecting foil glued using the heat-resistant glue on the inner surface of the rear wall over the heat-insulating paint, film solar batteries on an aluminium frame of the parabolic profile.
