FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: salient feature of invention consists in that measurement chamber for device detecting hydrogen in metals comes in the form of closed space without internal pipe-lines. Chamber has three windows. Separable sleeve made of light-transmitting material is positioned in lower part of chamber. Sleeve is hermetically linked to body of chamber. Internal space of chamber is illuminated by light source located outside of hermetic space through walls of sleeve. System designed to move specimen implemented in the form of cup made of magnetic material and magnet is positioned on bottom of sleeve. EFFECT: increased sensitivity and efficiency of creation of vacuum inside chamber. 3 cl, 1 dwg
