FIELD: analysis of materials by liberation of gas from them with use of heating. SUBSTANCE: device detecting hydrogen in metals has chamber with three optical windows, evaporation laser, roughing-down pump, system determining quantity of hydrogen manufactured in the form of laser source of biharmonic pumping and system determining intensity of anti- Stokes component of light scattering. Novelty of proposal lies in fabrication of chamber in the form of working and measurement spaces communicating with use of valve. Two optical windows are located in measurement space and third window is made in working space. In addition working space communicates with the aid of three-way valve with roughing-down pump and bottle filled with buffer gas. Volumes of working and measurement spaces are related depending on used buffer gas. Volumes of working and measurement spaces have relation 1:1, if argon is used as buffer gas. Internal walls of working space are manufactured from fluoroplastic and windows are made in its external walls. EFFECT: increased sensitivity of device. 2 cl, 3 dwg
