FIELD: mechanics.

SUBSTANCE: laser source of biharmonic pumping a hydrogen detecting device has a dish with hydrogen, made in form of a pipe with two optical windows, a pulsed laser, fitted opposite one of the optical windows of the dish, collimating and focusing lenses, a dish made in form of a hollow photon-crystalline light-guide fibre. The laser source of biharmonic pumping is also fitted with at least one beam splitter and a beam convergence system. To compensate for time shift of pumping radiation and stokes component, the device includes an optical delay line.

EFFECT: reduced weight and size characteristics of the device and use of a low-power laser source.
