FIELD: navigation; ship longitudinal motion automatic control systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes rudder angle sensor, ship turn angular velocity sensor, heading setter, shipboard steering gear, satellite navigational system receiver with antenna and automatic course angle regulator which includes lateral deviation computer for determination of lateral deviation of ship from preset trajectory, ship state estimation unit and adder. Ship state estimation unit has four adders, four multipliers and four integrators whose outputs are outputs of ship state estimation unit. Law according to which ship motion stabilization and control are effected includes estimation of drift angle. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of control circuit. 2 dwg
