FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method for obtaining microcellulose, which includes: 1) hydrolysis of a fibrous cellulose material with mineral acid at the temperature in the range from 100 to 185°C, at which the quantity of acid constitutes from 0.2 to 10% of the dry cellulose weight or 2) acidification of the fibrous cellulose material with the following washing with water and hydrolysis of the washed cellulose material at the temperature in the range from 100 to 185°C with obtaining a mixture of microcellulose and hydrolysate with the further separation of microcellulose from hydrolysate. The mixture or separated hydrolysate, or separated microcellulose, if necessary, is neutralised, where obtaining of microcellulose is integrated into the production process of the cellulose plant in such a way that, at least, a part of sulphuric acid, and/or sodium bisulphate, and/or sodium bisulphite, used for the acidification and/or acid hydrolysis, or/and hysrolysis of sodium hydroxide, sodium carbonate or sodium bicarbonate, used for neutralisation, is obtained in the integrated process of regeneration of cellulose plant chemical substances.
