FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method for obtaining microcellulose, which includes the acid hydrolysis of a fibrous cellulose material at the temperature in the range from 140 to 185°C and consistence in the range from 8 to 50% counted per the dry cellulose weight, at which the quantity of added mineral acid constitutes from 0.2 to 2%, preferably from 0.5 to 1.5% of the dry cellulose weight, with the hydrolysis being carried out in a continuous bleaching tower.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain high-quality microcellulose with the narrow range of the granulometric composition.
