FIELD: methods of securing sea-going ships to anchor in the offing for underwater extractions of oil and/or gas. SUBSTANCE: each anchor line is tightened by means of individual tensioner. All anchor lines having fixed length are tightened-up with no change in length by tightening-up anchor lines having adjustable length, thus making it possible to position ship by tightening said lines. Device proposed for securing the ship to anchor is provided with several anchor lines of adjustable length with individual tensioners located at their upper ends; other anchor lines have fixed length. Each anchor line of fixed length is provided with connecting members for securing its upper end to swivel body which is made in form of turret and tensioners are made in form of winches.
