UNDERWATER POSITIONING SYSTEM OF "DOME" TYPE DEVICE FOR LIQUIDATION OF UNDERWATER OIL SPILLS Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC E02B15/04 B63B21/50 E21B43/01

Abstract RU 2714336 C1

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to underwater positioning of non-self-propelled underwater equipment and its retention in preset coordinates, in particular specialized device of "dome" type for liquidation of underwater oil spills. To reduce power consumption compared to using a dynamic positioning system, an anchor positioning system is proposed, consisting of anchors with hydroacoustic transponder beacons, deep-water electric winches, sensors of the environment monitoring system, hydroacoustic beacon-transponder "dome". Underwater positioning system allows to install, retain and control movement of specialized device of "dome" type from water surface from carrier ship located in safe zone (outside fire-hazardous area of oil spot action).

EFFECT: technical result of invention is enabling possibility of accurate adaptive long positioning of "dome" type device for liquidation of underwater oil spills.
