FIELD: laser engineering. SUBSTANCE: method for producing solid-state laser pump that has metal foil reflector with mirror surface includes manufacture of mirror-surface metal foil by chemical silvering of quartz crystal substrate followed by its galvanic plating with copper and nickel layers and removal of foil from quartz crystal substrate. Metal-foil reflector is mounted in pump housing where thermal contact between metal foil and housing is ensured. This conductively heated no-liquid pump for lamp-pumped solid-state laser produced by proposed method ensures its operation within frequency range required for range finding and target designation and is noted for enhanced manufacturability and low cost. EFFECT: reduced mass and enhanced reliability compared with liquid-cooled laser radiators. 1 cl, 2 dwg
