FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with manufacturing biologically active substances out of medicinal leech. The suggested biologically active additive (BAA) for cosmetic and medicinal preparations is a powder-like substance or liquid obtained at complete or partial removal of extract being emulsion of the following composition: vegetable oil, phospholipid and water. Freeze dried mass of medicinal leech undergo extraction. The present innovation, also, deals with the method for obtaining biologically active additive for cosmetic and medicinal preparations due to freezing medicinal leech, its freeze drying, reducing, extraction and filtration. Innovation provides to obtain BAA out of medicinal leech tissue as lipid-enzymatic complex of protease and hyaluronidase activity favoring BAA stability in aqueous solutions. BAA obtained due to the above- mentioned method increases skin permeability by 1.5-2.3 times that leads to higher activity of cosmetic and medicinal preparations that contain such an additive. Moreover, the suggested BAA keeps the activity of protease and that of hyaluronidase for 6 mo that is 10 times higher against a prototype. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 6 cl, 3 ex, 3 tbl
