SUBSTANCE: biologically active additive for cosmetic products with therapeutic and preventive properties are prepared be freezing and then thawing medical leeches, after which leech mass is homogenized and extracted to obtain liquid phase as desired product. Method increases biological activity of desired product because of eliminated possibility for additive to form complex on the surface of membrane of symbiotic bacterium of medical leech and because of release of new biologically active substances in active form. This, in turn, contributes to improvement of following characteristics of additive: enhanced protein exchange and lipid exchange, antinflammatory activity, reduced malonic dialdehyde content, lack of irritating and allergizing effects, increased degree of blocking formation of thrombi, antihypoxyc and hypotensive activities.

EFFECT: improved consumer's properties of additive.
