FIELD: production of cuprous-aluminum spinel extrudates. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method of production of cuprous-aluminum spinel extrudates, in particular extrudates made in the form of honeycombs, which after drying and calcinations may be used in the capacity of catalysts. The method of production of cuprous- aluminum spinel extrudates provides for an extrusion of a powder of a cuprous-aluminum spinel, and if necessary with additional usage of auxiliary means used at pressing, stabilizing agents, antishrinkage means, porophores or the molding masses compounds containing their mixtures. The initial molding mass additionally contains of aluminum oxides or aluminum hydroxides and metals nitrates, in the weight ratio corresponding to the weight ratio of the cuprous-aluminum spinel. Calcination is exercised at temperatures in the range of 700 up to 900 C. There is a description of the items made in the form of the honeycomb structures produced by the method. At that the initial extrudate is dried at temperatures in the range of 10 upto 2000 C or it is sublimated at temperatures in the range of minus 40 C upto 0 C under pressure of 0.05 to 0.8 bar and calcined at temperatures within the range of 500 C up to 900 C.
