FIELD: diving technology; apparatus for underwater swimming. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes gas exchange between water and gas medium of hollow chamber bounded by envelope-membrane made from porous material at diameter of through pores up to 100 mcm. Gas exchange is effected at pressure of air in hollow chamber exceeding total pressure of atmosphere and hydrostatic column of submergence of chamber.
