FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: supercapacitor, having a closed chamber which is formed by means (10) for gas exchange with an external medium and having two electrodes with a large specific surface area, separated by a divider, wherein the divider and the electrodes are saturated with an electrolyte, wherein the gas exchange means have a membrane which is permeable for hydrogen and isotopes thereof and is impermeable for other gaseous substances having an effective cross-section which is equal to or greater than 0.3 nm at temperature ranging from -50°C to 100°C.
EFFECT: high rate of selective removal of hydrogen formed inside the supercapacitor, while simultaneously preventing penetration of another gas from the outside into the supercapacitor.
