FIELD: hydrometallurgy of noble metals; extraction of gold and silver form low-concentration solutions (discharge pulp of tailing dumps and sea water). SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes extraction of gold and silver in presence of ions of other metals by adsorption of these metals in anion form; magnetic powder-like adsorbent placed in solution containing ions of gold and silver is kept in this solution for 24-28 h, after which it is removed by mans of pump, dried and molten with fluxing additives, thus obtaining crude metal. Device proposed for realization of this method includes perforated magnetic disk coated with powder-like adsorbent and positioned between two foam plastic rings.
