FIELD: measurement of flow rate of natural gas at automotive gas-distribution compressor stations. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes measurement of pressure and temperature ahead of converter in the form of Venturi tube and of pressure and temperature in narrowest section of converter. Flow rate is computed with the use of mechanism of irreversible adiabatic process of change of state of gas in converter. In iteration process of computation initially specified flow rate is varied and its real value is established by coincidence of value of measured pressure or temperature in narrowest section of converter with its design value obtained by step-by-step integration. EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurement of little gas flow rates with use of narrowing devices. 3 dwg
