FIELD: balancing of rotors and gimbal drives. SUBSTANCE: invention can find use in mechanical engineering as bed of dynamic balancing of gimbal drives in order to determine and correct lack of balance of articles. Method of dynamic balancing of gimbal drives consists in establishment of value of unbalance, reduction of unbalance, in displacement of universal joints to ensure parallelism of their rotation axes, in determination of value and decrease of unbalance in planes passing through universal joints, in running-in, removal of displacement of universal joints and in final correction of unbalance. Gear for realization of method has base, drive, vibration measuring supports including cradles with spindles mounted for turn around vertical axis and device fixing angular position and blocking vibrations. Axes of universal joints are displaced by turn of spindles on which balanced gimbal drive is positioned.
