FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: when disbalance is determined universal-joint drive is rotated at one speed at both ends by two rotary drives, and for run-in rotary drives are shifted relative to vibration measurement supports. To eliminate disbalance after run-in, rotational and braking moments are alternatively applied to ends of universal-joint drive, disbalance for each correction plane is measured, measured disbalance values for each correction plane are compared, and if difference is less or equal to permissible measurement error the balancing is considered finished. Device contains base with two installed vibration measurement supports with flat springs. On bottom ends cradles are mounted on which via rotary joints rotary drives are installed. Shafts of these rotary dives are connected to articulated joints of universal-joint drive through balancing arbors. On sides of vibration measurement supports latches are installed. Rotary drives are connected to control unit. Disbalance is measured by sensors connected to measuring instrument. In version of device for universal-joint drive balancing with loader, sensors are connected to comparators via storage circuits. Comparator outputs are connected to measuring instrument. For balancing with loader, sensors are connected to comparators via storage circuits. Comparator outputs are connected to measuring instrument.
