FIELD: medicine, virology. SUBSTANCE: method provides the enhanced precision in detection of human papilloma virus antigen. Method involves taking off biopsy material from larynx mucosa, its fixation, pouring into paraffin, treatment with H2O2 solution, washing out in buffer solution, applying polyclonal antibodies followed by applying conjugated antibodies raised to human papilloma virus and staining with hematoxylin. Smears from larynx mucosa are taken by "epithelial brush", fixed their in acetone for 10-15 min, then treated with 1% bovine serum albumin containing 0.5% of Triton X-100 for 20-25 min followed by applying monoclonal antibodies raised to human papilloma virus. Human papilloma virus antigen is detected in light microscope by the presence of light- and dark-brown granules in mucosa cells. EFFECT: improved detection method. 1 tbl, 1 photo, 1 ex
