FIELD: atomic power engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is meant to control flow rate of liquid, predominantly heat transfer agent, in large-diameter pipe-lines ( over 400 mm ) supplying heat transfer agent into active zone of atomic power station from main centrifugal pump. It can also be employed at thermal power stations in pipe-lines feeding water into boiler under pressure. Technical result of invention consists in decreased overall dimensions, mass and cost of device and in diminished operational expenses thanks to practically complete absence of cavitation and erosion processes during control over flow rate of liquid both in body of device proper and outside of it. Salient feature of invention lies in formation of two flows in body of device which are throttled independent of one another, one by means of throttle with constant coefficient of hydraulic resistance coming in the form of bushing, another with the use of throttle with rotary control valve. EFFECT: decreased overall dimensions, mass and cost of device and diminished operational expenses. 4 cl, 4 dwg
