FIELD: radio engineering; antenna arrays for cellular communication systems. SUBSTANCE: antenna designed for use in systems that function to transmit and receive radio signals has at least one radiator with two half-wave dipoles on opposite sides of dielectric substrate. Two radiators are crosswise interconnected to organize orthogonal- polarization transmit-receive channels. Pairs of crosswise interconnected radiators are installed along longitudinal axis of antenna to form antenna array. Dipoles are designed so that printed-circuit technology can be used in their production which facilitates their manufacture. EFFECT: provision for attaining desired shape of directivity pattern at reduced number of side lobes. 17 cl, 9 dwg
