FIELD: physics, communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna engineering and is intended to construct phased antenna arrays from antenna devices of radio communication systems or radar devices. The antenna array consists of eight radiators mounted on a rectangular flat metal reflector, the radiators being arranged in two lines of four each and the centres of the radiators in the upper line being offset from the centres of the radiators in the lower line by half the distance between the radiators. The reflector has eight holes, the centres of which coincide with the centres of the radiators. The holes are intended for connecting the inner conductor of each radiator to an external feeder liner for signal transmission. The left and right lateral edges of the reflector are tapered at an angle to the lower edge of the reflector. A recess is made on the surface along the periphery of the reflector.
EFFECT: designing antenna devices with a large number of radiators by mounting multiple copies of an antenna array next to each other, wider field of use owing to independent adjustment of amplitude-phase ratios in the circuit of each radiator and high vibration resistance of the structure.
