FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed antenna can be used as an independent antenna for microwave telecommunication systems, and as an element of waveguide antenna arrays of radar devices. Log-periodic dipole antenna comprises feeding rectangular waveguide 1 with flange input 2, first pair of thin collinear cylindrical conductors 3 and 4 with two adjacent ends 5, 6 and two remote 7, 8 ends. Conductors 3 and 4 are located parallel to wide wall 9 of waveguide 1. Antenna also has section of coaxial line 10 perpendicular to wide wall 9. Lower end 11 of the outer conductor of section 10 is galvanically connected to wall 9, and lower end 12 of the inner conductor of section 10 is immersed inside waveguide 1 through a cylindrical hole made on the axis of symmetry of wall 9. Outer conductor of section 10 is split into two identical halves 13 and 14 in the form of a trough by means of two identical slots 15 and 16. Adjacent ends of both the first pair of collinear conductors 3 and 4, and the following pairs, the number N of which is arbitrary, and the length of the conductors are reduced, are galvanically connected to the front and rear edges of these slots. At that, open remote ends of conductors of all pairs are located on straight lines crossing at angle of 70 degrees, passing through remote ends of conductors of the first and last pairs.
EFFECT: improved production and operational manufacturability of antenna systems supplied directly from waveguide flanges of generators.
