METHOD FOR DESIGNING OF PREFERABLE MODEL CONSTRUCTIONS FOR WOMAN'S CLOTHES Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: sewing industry, in particular, designing of clothes model constructions for women's figures of different build by selecting preferable geometric silhouette forms of clothes. SUBSTANCE: method involves designing model constructions of clothes by determining coefficient that characterizes extent of approximation of basic figure build to that of ideal figure, with preference coefficient C_p being used as said coefficient and determined from formula C_p = d_tt/H_f, where d_tt - is transverse diameter of basic figure thighs, cm; H_f is height of basic figure, cm; establishing basic figure slenderness group on the basis of said coefficient value; selecting preferable geometric silhouette form of clothes and calculating parameter values of selected geometric silhouette form of clothes for basic figure; designing preferable model construction of clothes for basic figure; to do that, plotting model clothes construction for typical figure on the base of basic clothes construction corresponding to preferable geometric silhouette form for basic figure with following altering of its constructive parameters, with difference in values of parameters of selected preferable geometric silhouette form and related constructive parameters of model clothes construction being taken into account.
