FIELD: medicine, pediatrics. SUBSTANCE: invention is designated for diagnosis of lymphatic diathesis and its clinical-pathogenetic variants in children of early age. Method involves determination of lean mass index as a ratio of calculated lean mass to calculated total body mass, in %; index of metabolically active mass as a ratio metabolically active mass to calculated total mass, in %; and level of basic metabolism. Lymphatic diathesis is diagnosed in value of lean mass index less 72.79%, index of metabolically active mass les 76.16%, and level of basic metabolism less 50.16 kcal/kg/24 h. Alimentary variant of lymphatic diathesis is diagnosed in value of lean mass index less 57.55%; index of metabolically active mass less 59.76%. The constitutional variant of lymphatic diathesis is diagnosed in value of basic metabolism less 43.02 kcal/kg/24 h. Method provides the enhancement of diagnosis precision due to assessment of quantitative indices of physical development in children of early age. EFFECT: improved diagnosis method. 3 tbl, 3 ex
