FIELD: inorganic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to concentrating manganese ores, in particular, to method for preparing manganese concentrates of chemical concentrating. Method for preparing manganese oxides involves treatment of manganese sulfate solution with oxygen or air oxygen in the presence of ammonia and preparing a precipitate as manganese oxides. Concentrations of components in working solution are maintained in the following limits: 0.1-0.7 mole/l by manganese sulfate; 0.1-1.5 mole/l by ammonia, and 1.2-1.6 mole/l by ammonium sulfate. The proposed method provides to simplify the process for preparing manganese oxides that can be used both in metallurgy directly and for preparing all nomenclature of manganese compounds.
