FIELD: ceramics. SUBSTANCE: raw meal is composed of, wt %: microsilica from crystalline silicon production 70.5-72.5, liquid glass 20.5- 22.5, and high-calcium fly ashes from heat-and-power plant 7.0. Microsilica is mixed with high-calcium fly ashes and then liquid glass is added. Resulting mix is molded using fry compaction technique to form samples, which are fires at 650-700 C. Thus obtained material is characterized by average density 1300-1330 kg/qu. m, compaction strength 34.5-37.5 MPa, and water absorption 41.1-22.7%. EFFECT: increased compaction strength and constructive quality factor. 2 tbl
