FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves diagnosing availability, nature and form of purulent pyelonephritis case. Treatment tactics differential selection is carried out. Open nephrostomy is carried out in the cases of secondary purulent pyelonephritis in its purulent destructive transformation stage. Puncture-mediated nephrostomy is applied in the cases of secondary apostematous purulent pyelonephritis. Primary purulent pyelonephritis in its abscess stage being the case, abscess draining with puncture or exposing it and draining in performing open surgical intervention. Primary purulent pyelonephritis in its apostematous inflammation or single carbuncle stage being the case, complex medicamentous therapy is to be applied. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; reduced number and volume of surgical interventions. 4 cl
