FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used for diagnosing the stage of acute pyelonephritis. That is ensured by preparing blood samples of patients with acute pyelonephritis. That is followed by fluorescent in situ hybridisation using luminescence microscopy. Number of bacteria adhered on the surface of erythrocytes and intraerythrocytes is determined. If the integral value is less than 3, the serous stage is diagnosed. If the integral value is from 3 to 6, a transient stage is diagnosed. If the integral value is more than 6, the suppurative stage of acute pyelonephritis is diagnosed.
EFFECT: invention enables diagnosing the stages of acute pyelonephritis and determining the probability of developing purulent complications in the patient.
