FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has thoracic wound dilator unit with metal strip and left, right and additional hooks. The additional hooks are movably fixed to allow traveling along two axes in parallel and in perpendicular with respect to the metal strip. Two longitudinal uprights are attached to the left and right hooks. One transverse upright is attached to longitudinal uprights. The additional hooks are attached to the transverse upright and to metal strip by means of sliding fastening members. Fastening member has a through longitudinal slot to allow movement along longitudinal and transverse axes.
