FIELD: medicine; children's cardiology.
SUBSTANCE: mini-invasive sternotomy is performed during connection with artificial blood circulation apparatus. Cannula for lower hollow vein is put through one cut in epigastria area; the cut is later used as drainage opening. Aortal cannula is put through additional cut in jugular notch; later cut is taken in.
EFFECT: better visualization and access for surgeon to field of operation; higher safety; lower risk of post-operational complications.
