FIELD: medicine, experimental pharmacology and cardiology. SUBSTANCE: with the purpose to restrict necrosis area one should apply azitromycin macrolide preparation at concentrations of 10 and 30 mg/kg. Single application of preparation 15 min before coronaroocclusion decreases intensity of lipids myocardial peroxidation and, thus, restricts necrosis area of cardiac muscle. This increases efficiency in treating acute myocardial infarction. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 tbl
