FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed pneumohydraulic spring of vehicle suspension contains cylinder 1 and hydraulic accumulator 6 connected with space of cylinder 1 through valve 7. Valve 7 is made in form of damping unit in housing of which connecting channel 12 is made and plunger 11 is installed for axial displacement. Said plunger forms, together with housing, overplunger space 13 and underplunger space 14 connected through throttling hole 15 in plunger 11 forming main throttling channel featuring high resistance. Connecting channel 12 has two outlet holes 16 and 17 into piston space 4 of cylinder 1 and two outlet holes 18 and 19 into space 9 of hydraulic accumulator 6 forming additional throttling channel featuring low resistance. At extreme positions in rebound stroke plunger 11 overlaps outlet hole 17 into piston space 4 of cylinder 1 and at compression stroke overlaps outlet hole 18 into space 9 of hydraulic accumulator 6 and interacts with one of two preloaded springs 20 or 21 installed at ends of connecting channel 12 and opens overlapped hole 17 or 18 communicating piston space 4 of cylinder 1 with space of hydraulic accumulator 6 at high pressure differentials at compression and rebound strokes of spring.
