FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to upspringing of vehicles, particularly, to pneumohydraulic springs with self-adjustable hydraulic resistance depending on amplitude and direction of vibrations and change of static pressure in spring. Proposed pneumohydraulic spring of vehicle suspension contains cylinder with piston and rod forming piston and rod spaces in cylinder, and hydraulic accumulator connected with cylinder space through valve made in form of damping unit self-adjustable depending on amplitude and direction of vibrations and pressure in spring. Invention makes it possible to create new automatic control damping system provide reduction of hydraulic resistance at small vibration amplitudes and at coincidence of directions of movement of body and wheel and providing limiting of maximum damping force at compression and rebound stroke depending on static pressure in spring which improves smoothness of vehicle running along roads of any type at any load cuts down repair and maintenance expenses owing to higher stability of damping characteristics.
