FIELD: organic chemistry, biochemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compounds of unstable inhibitors of dipeptidylpeptidase IV (DP IV) of the general formula: A-B-C wherein A means amino acid; B means a chemical bond between A and C or amino acid; C means unstable inhibitor DP IV, namely, a derivative of dipeptidylalkylketone, with exception for derivative of fluoroalkylketone as derivative of dipeptidylalkylketone, residue of dipeptidylchloroalkylketone, dipeptidylcyanide or dipeptidylpyridinium methylketone. Invention provides the enhancement of stability of DP IV inhibitors, possibility for regulating onset of effect and duration of effect. Similar compounds are used for treatment of disturbed tolerance to glucose, glucosuria, hyperlipidemia, metabolic acidosis, diabetes mellitus, diabetic neuropathy and nephropathy and complications caused by diabetes mellitus in mammals. Invention describes also pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds. EFFECT: valuable medicinal and biochemical properties of inhibitors. 18 cl, 2 tbl, 8 dwg
