FIELD: pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: pharmaceutical composition for prevention or treatment of a disease associated with 15-lipoxygenase, comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of 3-[4-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)-piperazine-1-yl]-3-oxo-1-phenylpropyl ester of (R) carbamic acid. The invention also relates to a method for treatment of a disease associated with 15-lipoxygenase, as well as a pharmaceutical composition with inhibitory activity.
EFFECT: implementation of the invention allows to increase the effectiveness of prevention or treatment of diseases associated with 15-lipoxygenase, such as diabetic nephropathy, diabetic neuropathy, vascular complications of diabetes, hyperlipidemia and inflammatory reactions induced by diabetes.
