FIELD: coal-mining industry. SUBSTANCE: invention is dealing with technology of production of powder-like coal fuel for flare combustion on heat-and-power plants. Disintegration is accomplished by affecting material by microwaves, specific absorbed power P of which is chosen from condition: P = Cp(T1-T2)/t, where Cp denotes specific heat capacity of coal, T1 initial temperature thereof, T2≥ 125 C, and t is coal heating time from T1 to T2. Experiments have shown that pulverization of coal takes place at microwave heating to 125 C and typical size of coal grains ranges from 10 to 20 mcm. EFFECT: intensified disintegration operation.
