FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: used in lifting mechanisms using running threaded screw-nut pairs. The self-aligning running nut contains a disc spring, a conical support washer, a rubber ring and a movable support washer. The running nut has a cylindrical groove for connection with the support conical washer, the support conical washer is connected to the disc spring due to a conical fit, and the movable support washer has a thrust collar for connection with the disc spring. The running nut additionally has a groove in which a rubber ring is placed.

EFFECT: ability to reduce bending and radial loads on the lead screw during operation, as well as evenly distribute axial loads on the screw in a multi-screw arrangement.
