FIELD: small arms; carbines and smooth-bore rifles. SUBSTANCE: according to first version, semi-automatic small arms has barrel part, receiver where cocking, triggering and impact mechanisms are arranged, cartridge magazine and butt stock; cocking mechanism includes moving members which moves inside receiver; it is intended for cocking the hammer under action of cocking spring; shape and sizes of said movable member as well as force and working stroke of spring ensure several cycles of cocking the hammer per cycle of working stroke of compressed spring; movable member stops after every cycle of cocking the hammer. According to second version, semi-automatic small arms include butt stock, barrel part, receiver inside which cocking, triggering and impact mechanisms are arranged, cartridge chamber made in form of movable unit for delivery of cartridges; it stops when axes of cartridge and barrel coincide; movable unit is designed for repeated use; it is made in form of rigid magazine-cartridge chamber at side feed; barrel part includes two vertical barrels; magazine-cartridge chamber has two rows of holes ; it is spring-loaded along axis of guides.
